Pls o doc and mummys in the House, why is it DAT most mothers discourage women from exclusive breastfeeding. Some will say the baby will not add weight and will not eat food wen is time to eat solid. Pls is it true? Help a FTM

Hello mums and doc in the house. Please I was told at the hospital yesterday that my amniotic fluid is reduced. I was given iv fluid on admission. Am 40+ but I don't have any strong labour yet. My baby weighs 2.7 kg. Now the doc is saying I will go for cs cos of the baby weight that she can't withstand labour stress. According to scan my baby is healthy and the heat beat is normal. I dont know if i should wait for labour? Pls help a ftm. Am confused.
