Good day mummies and doctors in the house,pls am 36weeks and am feeling a sharp back pain and some pelvic pain too.Is it normal?

Good day able mums, pls o my sis is 24weeks pregnant and after undergoing scan on Sunday it was discovered that the baby is no more, and since that Sunday she has been admitted in the this . Pls my question is this for how long will she stay before she can be induced? Bc to me I feel it's taking too long, and the doctors said they don't want to rush the process, pls advice is needed urgently.
