Today is the second day of my period, and its strechy,does it suppose to be strechy or slippery

Pls docs and moms in the house help me out,I have not been ovulating so I took folic acid last month, and ovulated but my husband was not around that time,now am on my monthly cycle what do I do to improve my chances of getting pregnant should I continue with the folic acid or is there any other drugs I will try,I don't want this month to be in vain again

Pls moms and doctors in the house,if recent I don't ovuluate egg during ovulation rather having waist pain is it normal or should I see a physician?
