Good evening Doc n mommas..my 6Days baby has jaundice, I took him to D hospital today the doctor said he will be placed on admission under the light for 1week. I can't afford the hospital charge for now. Pls any advice on what to use?? Thanks

When it happened to my baby i didn't go to hospital,we just brought her out under morning sun every morning for 6days and she became ok

Good suggestions but I will ask what is the state of the jaundice if it's mild then you can do all these but if not hospital is the best. Then there's this leave they use to wrap 'eko'i don't know the area you reside but I stay in Badagry.if you know the leave we call if "afrema ".cook it and then put it in a feeding bottle add little glucose and give your baby, and you take it too. I give you 3days it will disappear

I did the unripe pawpaw thing but didn't give her to drink, just added it to her bathing water and also, exposure to morning and evening sun helps alot too
